This masterpiece of a luxurious red Eri silk mekhela sador is hand-woven in Assam with naturally dyed ahimsa eri silk, dyed with Manjusha and enhanced with intricate woven designs in Muga spun silk and naturally dyed eri silk. The exquisite motifs are a mix of geometric and floral patterns with a wide woven border 

This mekhela sador is sure to turn heads where ever it is being worn to, whether it be a wedding, a party or a function.

Mekhela sador ( chador/chadar) is a traditional dress, similar to a saree, worn in Assam - it consists of two pieces - a lower portion called mekhela, like a stitched sarong and an upper portion called the sador ( chador/chadar).
